GeoView Wireless GPS Module for Digital Imaging

The GeoView Wireless GPS device was developed for all personnel to include photographers, law-enforcement, first responder, homeland security, military, and the civilian sectors to provide users with the ability to process and record the GPS data onto the EXIF metadata file within the image to provide a permanent record of where and when the photo was taken. The GeoView module works with prosumer and professional Nikon digital SLR cameras such as the Nikon D-200, D2Hs, D2x and D2xs. Data can be toggled on & off the image. Requires a wireless GPS unit such as the Garmin 10 sold separately. Both can be bundled together for additional cost savings.

GeoVision On-screen Display Technology

The GeoVision module overlays hardwired RS-232 or wireless Bluetooth GPS receiver data (including latitude, longitude, heading, speed, date and time and optional user-defined message) onto any incoming video source or video camera. In addition to overlaying data onto the video image, GeoVision can simultaneously convert the GPS NMEA data into a continuous audio stream that can be recorded to any audio track, including the stereo audio channels of video camcorders. The audio output track, when decoded by provides a synchronized NMEA stream for location tracking & instant route playback using most mapping software. New compact mounting option includes cameras, DVR & GPS unit.

SnapLive Image Multicasting Software

The ability to take photos and multicast them instantly to any user-defined email account is finally here. Using intelligent, power adaptive features and common wireless transmission transport protocols an operator can snap an image and instantly send the photograph to anyone without the use of cables or removing the memory card from the camera. The software monitors the Nikon digital camera for activity and instantly transfers the image to a local EVDO-enabled laptop which then forwards it securely to any number of authorized recipients. Perfect for surveillance teams, first responders, and the occasional fall on the red carpet at the Oscars. Send
