R2 Audio Amplifier & Digital Control Unit

Our new line of superior performing microphone preamplifiers meet the demands of an ever changing mission set. The two-channel R2 Remote Audio Preamplifier combines superior audio circuitry with state-of-the-art digital control technology. It can be used as a stand-alone drop in amplifier with manual gain/biasing adjustment or can be remotely powered and controlled with the optional Digital Control Unit. The DCU can be used to remotely control all the features of the R2 and includes filtering, gain and biasing adjustment and power management. Remotely (phantom) power the R2 using the DCU for added covertness. Only 2.4” x 1.5” x .6” in size. Works with almost all 2 and 3 wire microphones.

Intelligent Device’s Enhanced Audio (IDEA) unit is the first in deployable audio enhancement systems designed for technical investigators who require the ruggedness of a hardware-based recording solution and need the flexibility of a complete software-based audio enhancement application. IDEA incorporates 256 individual, user-selectable filters with dual, hot-swappable SD card reader/writers for unattended audio collection. This unit allows the user to enhance line-level audio or amplify and enhance microphone-level audio feeds. The palm-sized device is perfect for listening post applications and covert audio applications.
